You never really visited a water fall until you fall for it and trust me I did in reality :D
Sept 2016 the day 3 bikers decided to head to waterfall.
Heading to Raja, Rani, Rocket, Roarer was a blast - Jog Falls
Well, I already knew Surya but this time made a new buddy - Karthik
Surya on his usual R15 V2 Yamaha which I adore the most
Karthik - AKA my impostor.
Started our journey to Chitradurga
450 Kms of road trip and it all begins on friday the day 1 struggle of the journey, started from Bangalore at 12:30PM IST and headed straight to chitradurga
CHITRADURGA Located at a distance of 202 kms Northwest of Bangalore, in the heart of the Deccan Plateau, Chitradurga is recognized as the land of valour and chivalry. The district headquarters town, Chitradurga owes its name to “Chitrakaladurga,” or “Picturesque castle”. This is a massive fortress on top of granite hills that rises dramatically from the ground. Archaeological remains found in the area, trace its history to the 3nd millennium B.C.
Well we did not actually visit the place as Surya had issues with his bike not picking up this was the first time I saw surya riding at such low speed and I was wondering why is Mark 5 riding so slow and not catching up to me ? he is usually a speed racer in the curves and straight highways!
Only when we stopped for pee break was when he told his bike had issues and doesn't cross 100 inspite of opening full throttle hmm... then we exchanged bikes as I wanted see what the issue was though I am no expert I could instantly feel his bike was lacking power initially I thought it was his engine oil which might have burnt as he usually rides at higher speed but later we went to a yamaha service center and the guy replaced the air filter which was all dusty and spark plug cost us 500 bugs but his bike was finally fixed at 5:45 PM
Well reaching shimoga was a pain in the ass, Routes unknown and battery in mobile died, It was raining heavily bikes, gear, road all wet and slippery was scary as hell and most of all this was the first time I ever did a night ride and trust me it was spooky as hell.
Mud roads, Uneven roads, roads with craters, No street lights and absolutely nothing around and only dark jungle, trust me guys it was spooky as hell it was as if we were riding through some haunted forest or jungle no vehicles behind us nor any in front suddenly I don't know what happened my bike wobbled and I hit the back break the worst mistake to be done at 8:00 PM when nothing around fell hard on the ground at around 30-40KMPH fell so hard that frame sliders got bent, tank got scratched, Headlight doom got scratched and worst of all brake lever broke.

As it was dark and spooky and no street lights no vehicles quickly got up and started riding only to realize that my handle bar is also bent, Asked my friend to ride behind me and we rode all the way to shimoga at 40-50 KMPH reached at around 10PM got some snacks and whiskey had an awesome talk time with friends in the room, oh by the way we stayed at Hotel Grand Asoka (only to realize later that was a 5 star rated hotel). Pretty good one though at the back of my mind I was like why the F*** did I have to hit the back break in slippery surface.
Next day we went first to Shimoga KTM service Center at 9:30 dropped my bike for repair, So that I can at least take it to Bangalore. Meanwhile we made the plan to go ahead with whatever we planned while starting this trip! and had a blast sitting as a pillion and enjoying the ride all the way to Jog Falls Trust me as much as I enjoyed it Surya and Karthik didn't Karthik was riding slow as he had to stay with us while Surya's bike was not picking up with all the weight we had on it and he rode it continuously for 113 KMs till Jog falls and his back shoulders were in vain and pain :D
Had some awesome clicks there and then without wasting time left back to shimoga to find my bike all ready for the rest of the journey.
Though the bike was fixed for just 1000 Bucks had already spent enough and was left with no money of little money.
Went to hotel took rest, only to find I got a bruise on my leg with the Day 1's accident but I just ignored it, Next day all packed headed straight to Kemmangundi!
Heaven on earth after seeing such places it is overwhelming that God hasn't made this world with just mud but with his emotions (Being too senti I guess ;))
had a blast in Kemmangundi taking photos we also visited the falls near by forgot the name but couldn't go to it as monkeys were all creating a chaos on our luggage's tied to bike
had to stay guard shooing away all the monkeys.
Started form there and reached Chikmaglur were I went to a local hospital to get my wound fixed, I entered the hospital with full gear and with GoPro on my helmet I was like the coolest dude to enter the place with all patients around, I met a nurse there, she took my BMI and asked me for what had happened, quickly showed her the wound, she took a needle and poked on my wound to remove all the water and waste blood that was helpful the wound sufficed.
Later she asked me to wait for a while only to my suprise she got an injection, A Tetanus Injection she took me to a room and asked me to pull down my pants as she wanted to hit the injection in my buttocks :D LOL I was so dam shy to do that, I requested her that please put it in the arm but no she was like - It will pain you in the arm let me hit this in the buttocks.
For nearly almost 10 mins I had argued that I was not comfortable to remove my pants with all stinky clothes inside with continuous ride, I tried to convince her but she was so adamant.
Finally I gave up and there went my pants down, well not really my pants down, but managed to open it so much so that there was space for injection to go in without me exposing my ass completely LOL and Injection right in my side bum cheeks ,after which obvious rub with the cotton.
Done with dressing the wound headed out and rode straight 3 hours back to bangalore, butt cheeks all spiced up and red.
Riding a 4 wheeler is so much more comfortable than a 2 wheeler but 2 wheels do move the soul :) on the way saw an accident again a Maruthi Suzuki Dzie Crashed like it was hit by a bull dozer guess no one survived inside couldn't stay much there as had to head back home with office in my mind on Monday.
And thats's how a wonderfull fun filled adventure came to an end.
Well Like it is said - You never really visited a water fall until you fall for it, And I did fell.
